And then it struck me -

I had a good night last night trying, maybe even successfully, to photograph the comet 21P Giacobini-Zinner.   If I can confirm this, there might be an entry this month.
Tonight is photoelectric:

The lightning strikes are from left to right, and approximately horizontal.

I am looking straight up Lake Couchiching, slightly East of North.

No filter but the colours are off. I was not aware of any thunder associated with these flashes.
