I went for an afternoon walk

I was thinking beaver and maybe otter.
However, I saw snow flakes.

Pretty, maybe?

March Lamb

Lambs are usually white - except for the black sheep in the family. And March traditionally has two faces - that of a lion and that of a lamb. And our resident Groundhog -

saw its shadow on Feb 2 = 6 weeks of winter. Usually one thinks consecutive weeks but I have not been able to find the written contract anywhere. Sooo tonight, no fooling around:

"Stop messin' about"!

Spring Fever - An hallucination may be sensory!

It is -1 deg C, not even as close to 2deg C that 2 was to 20, Michael. And it is snowing, Susan, so I am not having any further symptoms of withdrawal. On the other hand neighbours have been presenting me with an unnecessary number of shovels - bad for my back shovelling is.

And now that I have had my coffee I think I will resume hibernation - 6 weeks if I did not see my shadow!  wob

Snow, sunshine, and crazy signs of winter

Yesterday was more than delicous maple syrup with pancakes and sausage - and coffee.
