Yesterday. All my troubles seemed so far away ...

Compare this image:

from today with this image from yesterday:

Today, this morning, there is a white-out:

Who needs snowballs? Can you see the flag?

The snow has just about stopped! I'll try again:

Can you see the flag now?

I was going to go for a 30km run; then I thought I'd ski for an hour. Then I thought better!
I think I'll have some lunch.

The Great Outdoors

Just for comparison, just in case there is any doubt. Pairs of photos, just hours apart:

To the West:

The white stuff is snow ...

Lots of it ...
in our lot!

And the grand portage:

Boy, how I like this clean white stuff; and it doesn't bite like the black stuff of May and June does.

Es schneit - unused German phrase for it is snowing

Nature is so co-operative. Yesterday beautiful snow qualls and today a white-out.
The image looks bad BECAUSE it is snowing. If I filter it, it might appear better but really?
Straight ahead and then off to the right toward Rama:

Now the snow is so thick that I cannot get the snow flakes sharp at all distances. So here is a range from

middle, far and near - just for fun!
And the same toward a house just a little left of the above trees:

So has March come in like a lion?  wob
