McGee's Ups and Downs

The water was a pleasant 17C and over 50cm deep at the bridge.
Looking up stream:




And there was a bittern, too:


Down stream there was evidence that nature aka beaver had not abandoned the Creek:


And there was a water snake soaking in the water aka rain:

No frogs or dragons, lots of minnows.

A very Special Day: 11th day of the 7th month together 7 friends

150 years ago the First Nation people invited the English and French to join them in sharing. There is a wampum document to this effect: 3 people and a cross representing English, First Nation, French, and Jesuits(?)

A couple of days ago I saw an alternative to the bronze statue nearby:



Looks like a better representation of the people who lived here.

There is too many points to be discussed - rather think about who we are and where we have been. Maybe we can see better how to walk the paths ahead.
