When you see a post, what do you think?
Is it a random photo? Not really. However, one would have to see this one:
Then some in the family might recall a scene more than 25 years before:
We were on the beach near Carnac, France, when the tide had run out leaving sea grasses on a pole. Brittany remains one of our favourite regions. Vicki did this pen and ink sketch - I think more than once - but this is the one I have currently in my study.
Affectionately yours,

Like a fish out of water
While the rules of abstinence generally only allow seafood, there are a few exceptions. In parts of South America, especially in Venezuela, capybara meat is popular during Lent and Holy Week; in response to a question posed by French settlers in Quebec in the 17th century, beaver was classified as an exception;[14][15][16] and the Archbishop of New Orleans said that "alligator is considered in the fish family" in 2010.[17][18] The legal basis for the classification of beaver as fish probably rests with the Summa Theologica of Thomas Aquinas, which bases animal classification as much on habit as anatomy
So what brought this on?
A couple of beaver at least, might have been 4, enjoying the late afternoon sunshine.
There was quite a difference in size between the 2 beaver.
