I was standing near Leacock when a shadow crossed the snow and a bird landed on a limb in front of me - maybe 30m away.
I talked to it because I didn't think it was aware of me:
I think it must be a Cooper's Hawk although the head appears a little lighter than usual?
Having introduced ourselves it decided to continue on its way:
