Brewery Bay

Still from Saturday - I went around to Leacock to look for cardinals, woodpeckers, etc., anf I did find the 2 Trumpeters "doing" the rounds. I wonder what the covid19 virus is doing to wildlife? The Mergansers have taken over, it seems, coming right up to people as though they were part of nature. What would happen of this ever caught on?

Tea was apparently being served. I could hear the dog barking but the swans were not disturbed, maybe they thought it part of the entertainment?

They continued at a gentle pace.

No yellow wing tags were seen.

I am going to take a pause for a little while. Thought I would leave you with some more impressions from yesterday. ( I was also out today and took about 100 so don't worry about lack of material!)

I think that this animal is a mink form its initial size and behavior but one image looks like a bigger animal? What do you think?
