Tap in ...

I have been busy this past week with several adventures, including a talk about the planets we have discovered in our solar system (any interest and I could blog some points of view).
Let me begin with the tapping of sugar maples at Shaw's sugar bush, south of Orillia and East off #11 on Line 14.

The blue lines are in place but the ends are not yet tapped into the sugar maples:

And now to drill a hole for this year:

The wood core ought to look like this - and it does!

And then the long flow to the distillary!
