At Chacchoben -
I found a bat hanging under an overhang:
Later we stayed near Bacalar and in the evening I was treated to an aerial display:
I was quite lucky - it was quite dark and I had difficulties locating the animals, let alone photographing any with certainty. In fact it was only in the last couple of days that I tried my hand at extracting any info - can you see a bat in this shot?
I am really stretching the low intensity pixels into something recognizable. Still, tracking a moving object and "getting something" is rewarding. No flash at the time.
