Fog toward Tudhope

This morning there was a fog. Difficult to photograph a whiteout - so I waited until I woke up?

I took photos in other directions as well. However, while I could hear the snowmobiles I could not see them, so the contrast between white fog and white snow is minimal.

Into every life must fall

And the only thing I ever did wrong was to save her from the foggy, foggy dew:

The weathernetr showed +11C but the balcony thermo "only" showed:

I rotated the drops through 180 degrees to make 3 tiny lenses.

The fog didn't really look like this:

Just playing.

Foggy Outlook - still from Monday afternoon

I was struck by how dense the filaments were, how they changed like waves of Spring breaking on Winter's shoreline.

Not much colour, not much light but  alittle is sometimes just right:

Can hardly wait to see how the spiders respond to this gentle weave.

Foggy Park

I took these also this afternoon while biking.

And a fine setting for one of Orillia's favourite sons - I listen to GL more than 50 years ago.

Should not forget the little folk:
And their grandparents:
Maybe tomorrow I'll post another theme from today's outing.

Foggy - condo

And the only thing I did wrong was to save her from the foggy foggy dew

I ran in the morning. I biked in the afternoon. I swam at night.
And the only, only thing that I ever did wrong

was to save her from the foggy foggy dew.

Was this the last fling of winter?

I could see the temp rising this morning - from +3C to +6C in just an hour. Now as Mark Twain might say, if we extrapolate this like we extrapolate the growth of the Mississippi delta we will soon be ...

Still the fire would be put out by Wednesday when we are going to have "the flood" of 40 days of rain at +12C. Wait and see, said the blind man has picked up his hammer and saw.

When I took this photo, I did have something on my mind. Symbolism is never far away, irony.

The background is fog, toward Tudhope Park. I visited the Sistine Chapel in July 1968. Very impressive witness.

Fog over Couchiching - Dawn

Look, I am in great spirits; please do not get the wrong impression from yesterday. I wrote it in part with sarcasm and definitely dark humour but with a slight smile at myself.

Here is another morning and another sunrise:

Went to a Christmas Market:

And when I returned the fog was even thicker:

And the wind was chilly.
