Fog toward Tudhope

 This morning there was a fog. Difficult to photograph a whiteout - so I waited until I woke up?

I took photos in other directions as well. However, while I could hear the snowmobiles I could not see them, so the contrast between white fog and white snow is minimal.

Foggy Outlook - still from Monday afternoon

I was struck by how dense the filaments were, how they changed like waves of Spring breaking on Winter's shoreline.

Not much colour, not much light but  alittle is sometimes just right:

Can hardly wait to see how the spiders respond to this gentle weave.

Wednesday Feb 15 - fateful day last year. This year better - we have a grip on winter:

With skiing on Mon, skating on Tue, it seemed only fitting to snowshoe on Wed to complete the triathlon over to Leacock

Sunday was also hot and sunny - just went over to Tudhope with Vicki:

I went biking on Monday/Family Day - morning and afternoon in Orillia, and then in the gym!
And today I went back to Carthew Bay and there were some new tracks. And then it started to rain!
I snowshoed, used the strider and bike in the gym and then swam 200m - and I still weigh too much!

Rainbows over Tudhope

It rained today, 15C, wet and windy - gusty too. However, around 6pm there were some rays of sunshine and I ventured out to see the low lighting:

And now I learn that there is a faint possibility to see aurora this night - will stay up for awhile and see if there is a second pot of gold in Couch.

I just felt like getting out - a beautiful day.
