Minesing canoe Trip

yesterday Vicki and I paddled the Minesing Wetlands while Jörg ran Rennsteig for the 10th time. Well done. (Slow learner, Ute?)  (see also https://www.facebook.com/groups/261830517328561/)

    I would never have thought to try and eat ferns. Are they under protection in DE?

      I do not think so but I never saw them in the Eifel where I ran. I shall ask Volker and Jörg, maybe Werner and Ferdi. Norrie did not know one could eat fiddleheads. The idea comes from New Brunswick-New England, i.e. your Grandfather!

    Great pictures...love the porcupine! Did I tell you he was in the same area on our last trip, but on the other side of the Notty! Apparently they are good swimmers!
