What better time for a paddle on a warm October day when you and Nature are aglow.
It is the time when the leaves also take their leave
A pretty lagoon, one of 3 or 4 near us,
what I thought would be the last herons,
(Another blog entry, if written and posted, woulds or could show 2 more herons, alive.)
I was so taken by the colour in the trees and on the water that I nearly missed this:
Completely unexpected - but an opportunity if I moved the kayak just a little more:
