Valentine's Day

 Candy is dandy .

 Really?

Try cracked corn -

 Then there are those romantics -

 

 And those who still believe -

 

in Santa Claus. 

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,

 

 

So now I am looking forward to  March 14, a "reply day", on which men are expected to return the favour to those who gave them chocolates on Valentine's Day!
